Example: A
situation

which
an
individual
is not
recognized
by
any
state
as one of
its
nationals
,
which
may
result
(1) from
dislocations
caused
by
war
,
revolution
, or
other
political
reasons
; or (2) from a
conflict
of
nationality
laws
, by
some
act
of
denationalization
undertaken
by a
government
against
some
of
its
citizens
, or by an
individual
act
of
expatriation
which
is not
followed
by the
acquisition
of a
new
allegiance
.
